THE INTRODUCTION

China Natural Gas Map is one of Global Energy Dialogue research documents presented by ARA Research and Publication Organization.

China Natural Gas Map 1.4 was designed to tell where natural gas comes from through 569 gasfields & oilfields (with commercialized dissolved gas) and 38 LNG projects, and to tell the transportation outline through 810 important natural gas pipelines, and also to tell who are the major downstream users through 87 gas-fired power plants.

The map's research program traced, recorded and analyzed around 5,400 documents (over 100,000 pages) since 1982. These documents include published papers, reports, magazines and city plans. The content of these documents cover many areas such as commercial projects development, state micro-development planning, and geological structures etc.
